Betsy moved to Lake County from San Diego in 2020, after retiring from a long career in the health sciences. She started listening to jazz radio in her 20s (KJZZ in Los Angeles) and fell in love with the genre. She has supported jazz societies in Chattanooga TN, Tucson AZ, San Diego CA, and is now excited to be a part of the Central Florida Jazz Society. In addition to listening to jazz, Betsy enjoys reading, cooking, boating, and spending time outdoors here in beautiful Central Florida.
