TICKETS

Join us this Veterans Day weekend for A Salute in Swing: Jazz from Those Who Served — a powerful afternoon of music and tribute performed by an extraordinary ensemble of former U.S. military musicians, joined by acclaimed bassist Greg Zabel.

Each member of this remarkable group (except Greg, who proudly joins them as a civilian guest artist) served in one of the nation’s premier military bands in Washington, D.C., performing for presidents, dignitaries, and audiences around the world. Now, they reunite on the Blue Bamboo stage to celebrate the rhythm of service and the spirit of freedom through the universal language of jazz.

The performance will feature beloved jazz standards, original arrangements written especially for this event, and a moving Armed Forces Medley to honor all who have served.

Personnel:

  • Joe Eckert, saxophone – CMSgt (ret) USAF, Airmen of Note (1984–2004)

  • Pete BarenBregge, saxophone – CMSgt (ret) USAF, Airmen of Note (1979–1998)
